How to use

1.  Remove the blue nut and place on the pipe.

2.  Remove the white grip ring and slide on to pipe

3.  Make sure that the cut on the end of the pipe is square and that any burs have been removed.  For large fittings a bevel on the outside edge will aid fitting

4.  Coat the gasket which is inside the fitting with silicon lubricant or similar

5.  Push the pipe inside the fitting.  Push the pipe beyond the gasket until it stops.

6  Now slide the white grip ring up the pipe and inside the pipe.

7.  Slide the blue nut down the pipe and tighten to hand tight.  Add another quarter turn using a strap or similar.  Larger fittings may need more as the threads are quite stiff.  If you are using large fittings ie 50 and 63mm and have not used them before then please call on 0118 9736905 so that we can explain in more detail.

8.  Pressurize the pipe and fittings before covering to make sure that the fittings have been fitted correctly

For threaded fittings use gas grade PTFE to for a seal between the threads again if you are unsure than please call us for more information
