Imperial PVC Reducer 11/4" x 3/4"
Reducers are used with the larger size of fittings. As an example a 1" - 3/4" Reducing Bush would need a 1" Socket. The 1" Socket would fit over the pipe then the reducing hush would be glued in to the socket so that the 3/4" Pipe can be glued in to the bush.
Imperial PVC pipe fittings are very confusing as the diameter refers to the inside diameter of the PVC pipe. This standard relates back to the age of steam in the early 19th century.
